RatedorHated.com Site Rules
RatedorHated.com is an online community designed to allow its viewers and members to find and share opinions on a wide variety of topics. RatedorHated.com has created some guidelines, to encourage a beneficial and respectful environment of ideas and opinions. The following behaviors are absolutely off limits:
1. Upload, email, post, transmit or otherwise distribute any content that is unlawful,
abusive, harmful, yhreatening, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, libelous, obscene,
hateful, racial, ethnically wrong, invasive of another’s privacy or
otherwise objectionable.
2. Harassing other users.
3. Creating multiple accounts.
4. Using e-mail tools, such as personal messaging, to send spam.
5. Attempting to artificially inflate the number of "helpful" or "not helpful" associated with
any account, including your own.
6. Posting content that is not your own Flaming. Disagreement is to be expected,
but personal attacks on other reviewers are off limits. This includes attacks on the integrity
of other ROH reviews (cheating accusations, vigilante justice type posts, etc.)
7. Posting comments that contain excessive profanity or hateful and/or threatening language.
8. Posting comments that have nothing to do with the item being rate. Trying to antagonize
others by purposely passing comment that will create controversy.
9. Creating ways to falsify ratings or rankings of particular topics
10. Calls to action (e.g. requesting other users to vote down a certain item, boycott a store, etc.)
11. Posting the same post repeatedly for different items in different sections.
12. Posting blatant commercial pitches - I.e. visit me http://www.coolinteriordesign.com/
13. Creating nicknames or personal profiles that are rude and insulting to others.
14. Working with others to gang up on certain individuals
15. Discussing past, pending, or possible lawsuits against companies.
16. Posting of any URL or links
17. If comments become too much of a problem on certain topics they will have to be deactivated
on that particular item. We ask the community to help monitor usage.If you do not agree to
these terms above please do not use RatedorHated.com.

1. Posting of Content
You may only post communications and any content that is yours (such as text, photographs, video, data, music, video and other materials). You may not post any content that goes against the RatedorHated.com guidelines. By posting content on site you grant RatedorHated.com the right to use, copy, display, perform, distribute, adapt and promote this content in any medium. You shall be solely responsible for the Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. RatedorHated.com has the right to refuse to post Content for any reason. By posting any Content on RatedorHated.com you understand that your Content will be available & accessible to the public and that RatedorHated.com has no obligation and little control to prevent the unauthorized copying, alteration, dissemination or any other use of your Content by others. If and when you upload videos, pictures, or any other data from any other web sites. You must have permission, from that such website (youtube, metacafe, flickr, etc). WE also require that you have a reference of that website near the video, picture or data that you are uploading to Ratedorhated.com. Ratedorhated.com is not responsible for any material that you upload.
2. Limitation of Liability
YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY DISPUTE WITH THE SERVICE OR RATEDORHATED.COM IS TO DISCONTINUE YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR TO CANCEL ANY SUBSCRIPTION THAT YOU MAY HAVE WITH THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE RATEDORHATED.COM GROUP’S CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE USE OF THE SERVICE EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SERVICE FEES THAT YOU PAID DURING THE LAST SIX MONTHS FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE AT ISSUE.THE RATEDORHATED.COM GROUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THESE EXCLUSIONS APPLY TO ANY CLAIMS FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, EVEN IF THEY KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, IN SUCH STATES OR JURISDICTIONS, THE RATEDORHATED.COM GROUP’S LIABILITY IN SUCH STATE OR JURISDICTION IS LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
3. Indemnification
YOU AGREE TO DEFEND, HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE RATEDORHATED.COM GROUP, AND ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO YOUR AND YOUR USERS’ USE OF THE SERVICE (INCLUDING ACCESS AND USE OF THE SERVICE THROUGH YOUR USER APPLICATIONS), INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY OR EXPENSE ARISING FROM ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, DAMAGES (ACTUAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL), SUITS, JUDGMENTS, LITIGATION COSTS AND ATTORNEY’S FEES, OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED, DISCLOSED AND UNDISCLOSED.
4. Miscellaneous
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed superseded by a valid enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. RatedorHated.com’s failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others does not waive RatedorHated.com’s right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches. The failure of RatedorHated.com to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Each section contained in this Agreement are for convenience only and shall not limit or otherwise affect the terms of this Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between RatedorHated.com and User with respect to the subject matter hereof. RatedorHated.com may be taken down for maintenance every now and again and the site will be unavailable at these times.
